Consider it All Joy: Persevering Through Tough Times

About This Course

Rediscover The Book of James in its First-Century Jewish Context

The Festival of Sukkot (Tabernacles) begins on October 6 this year. In Leviticus 23:42-43, God commanded the Jewish people to live in temporary huts called sukkas for seven days to remind them of how He provided for them in the wilderness.  The holiday, however, is also known as zman simchateinu – The Season of Our Rejoicing”  – because God calls upon Israel to rejoice on this holiday more than any other.  The theme of the holiday is joy!

But joy is in short supply here these days. We are living through some very tough times. So join us on Thursday, October 9th at 6:00PM EST for an exciting study of the Book of James and discover how faith strengthens, endures and transforms!
